Anyone feel the need for an upgraded head for the Tiger 50. After seeing the Kasama for the Raptor 50 I'm jealous. Any ideas or opinions? Or do I just have to buy a Pantera???

Personally, I see it as an advantage that the Audacity helis don't have heads that are so weak as to need a replacement. If you want to upgrade, you could always buy the parts to convert your head to the pantera head. As I understand it, a large portion of them is the same.

The only bit I have upgraded was the seesaw arms. I went to a set of metal arms just to save the breakage factor.
I did put on a metal swash from RJX becuase it looks cool!
But I think this is all bling, and the Tiger head is just fine.

I believe they are the KSJ 1150 seesaw arms (purple). Not sure where you can find them now.

Centrifugal force has a way of keeping things tight. I'm not sure if upgrading will enhance performance much at all. If you crash, it's going to cost you though without some metal parts. The seesaw arms in particular. Pay one time or pay and wait each time.

This metal flybar control is a direct fit.

I found the KSJ 1150 Seesaw Arms HERE

You could use the Kasama head on the Tiger as well. $199.99 which includes the washout and everything else up. You would need to buy a couple of Raptor parts to fit the head with but the head flys WONDERFUL!!!!!! I have 2 of them.

Of course you can, you can also use any of the X-Cell heads or anything else for a 10mm mainshaft. However, why would you? The Raptor needs it because it comes with a poor excuse for a head from the factory. Unlike your Raptors, the Tiger and Pantera have a metal block already, and can stand up to high headspeeds and heavy 3d.

I have a Kasama on my Raptor 50 Titan and I am ver pleased w/ it. Would that get rid of the ccpm on the Tiger? Do I want to do that?

Changing the head has no impact on a heli being CCPM or not, that is determined at the swash and below.

You don't, use a 120 degree swash, like the stock one. The Kasama doesn't come with a swash anyway. If you look at a 120deg (or 140) and a 90deg, the top ring of both swashes is identical, and that's where all the connections to the head happen.

i kind of like the fact that those arms break. They are like the sacrificial part so that something else more expensive doesn't break. Thats me though. Those arms do look really cool though.

Like he said I said. Just about any swash will work with any head. Just throw the head on, and connect it to the stock swash. If you are going to throw money at the heli and get a bling head, you can always buy a bling swash as well. Any 120 degree swash will work if you want to use an aftermarket metal swash. Quick UK makes some nice swashes, a Miniature Fury swash would probably work great, JR Airskipper/RJX Hurrican, Hirobo CCPM, pretty much anything that has a 10mm mainshaft and CCPM.

You know, when I talked to JB about it, that's what he said too. However, thinking about all the helis I've had and all the crashes (and there have been a lot), I'm not buying it. If those seesaw arms didn't break, the links would most likely break or just pop off, just like every other heli I've had. Instead, those arms are weaker than the links, so they break and are more expensive to replace than a link. Just my opinion, but I bet it's pretty close.

RJX swash rules!
The purple See Saw arms.
The rest is bling!
Remember JB designed this thing to be light and if you add all the bling your just getting back to the "pigs"!
