I ask this from time to time as it is so hard to keep up with. What is the current "hot" set-up for the Logo 10?

I am looking for something 8s to 10s, preferably in two 4s or 5s packs for charging purposes.

Has CC finally gotten the soft start issue sorted out? Are these good ESC's to use?

Thanks to all,
Lou

I reckon a 6S setups is already pretty darn kick ass. Lots of power and reserve. Im not sure, but the extra weight of 10s in a Logo10...is that really worth it? Because the power-to-weight on six is is sweet.

Z-Power Z30 1050kv
CC45HV/CC80HV
EVO 20 3900 6s1p

OR

Tango 45-10
Jazz 80
EVO 20 3900 OR TP 4500 6S1P

You could look into the Medusa Motors-cept the shaft, i think is on the short side:

You could use higher capacity packs (like TP 5000's) but u just have to think about weight.

The new sofware on CC's ESC's is pretty impressive. But for ultimate power and flawless performance get the Jazz. I wish i had the extra cash to get one, but i got a CC instead which is holdin up just fine

Hello Lou,

I have a L10 running 6S 15C packs, Tango 45-07 and a Jazz controller. It has lots of power but lacks some compared to my Logo 14 on 10S. Might be that some EVO packs would give it the last bit but if I where to build a new one I would probably go 8S.

CC have finally managed to get the soft start right, but I didnt quite get the governor to work right with a Neu 1910 1Y motor. When I ditched the governor mode and swithced to curves with a 100-90-100 curve in idle up it works great and the rpm is supprisingly constant.

I suspect that CC controllers generate slightly more RF-noise compared to Jazz controllers. I have had less glitching issues with Jazz controllers than with CC controllers.

What comes around goes around.

Any views here on the Orbit 20-10 with 6s setup? Currently running Hacker B50-14L with box but am looking for some more headspeed and grunt for 3D flight.

Its hard to concentrate with a 3 year old kid constantly pulling your trousers and asking you to land though...

I am pretty happy with the performance I get from this setup,

tp 4000ma 8s battery using a kontronik 45-08 motor, 55-10-32 esc, 11 tooth pinion (140 tooth main) and 550mm blades.

performance is about the same as most 50 glows, 7-8 minutes full 3d flying time, flying weight is 6 lbs 3 oz.

I finally got to watch the vid, Great flying!! Do you by chance have a vid of the 1910 set-up? I would like to see the differnce in power with it. What pinion, main gear, and battery are you using with the Ork?

Thanks Lou

Dont have a video of the Neu. I am currently using the Neu in a 7S emoli setup (18t pinion/200t main). This setup lacks some power compared to the Tango on 6S lipo and it is heavier. Havent tried to compare the Tango and Neu with the same setup so I cant tell you which is better, but I am going to convert it to a 6S setup in a few weeks so hopefully I will know more then

If anyone is interested in two 7S emoli packs just send me a PM...
