I may be in the wrong forum here but i know that this head is wonderful, but is it possible to mount it in a Raptor90? Cuz that would be awsome! i have a lot of exp. with my Raptors but very little with hirobo or Avant(hoping to fix that with the realease of the aurora!!) Any info would be helpful.

I put the EVO90 head onto a Raptor50V2. It was a simple bolt on and setup. Teh EVO head came off my Avant, and a programmable head went onto the Avant. Take a look at the photos.

Gained a little rotor diameter, and a lot of stability.
I don't see why a programmable head wouldn't fit.

I think the Synergy head would be the best drop in, however if you wanted to use the prog. head you could have the mainshaft turned down to 10mm on the end that the yoke bolts to as well as drl. and tap 4mm holes in the main shaft.

Problem with turning the main shaft down is every time you have to replace the shaft you have to get it machined down,

I've just had a fury tempest head machined out to fit my raptor main shaft, Don't know if the programmable head has enough material to machine it out to 12mm.

From my trials of testing different parts on the raptor 90 the problem is the low c of g and the overal weight of the heli, sure the tempest head makes it fly smoother and stops the nodding during tic tocs, but it still takes alot of pitch and engine power to change collective direction.

I've had my raptor since it came out as a 60 v1 over the years its been modded to keep up with the latest bling,it now has 3x airtronic servos running a ccpm setup.

As i also own a stratus and an avant i now feel the raptor has reached it limit and now needs a major design change to lose weight, move its c of g and increase its cyclic/collective power to keep up with the next generation of helis,

Just my opinion and i'm not starting a war

well daren your input was well worth taking. i agree with you completeley. also to solve the collective problem i mounted an extra servo in the rudder mount and so i now have two collective servos in the coll. it has got major pop now. i was just wondering about the head because i know it to be extremley precise and strong through many moves. nothing inherently wrong with my raptor head but i want to go to metal and i just thought why not get a beast of a head.

The raptors mainshaft is hollow so turning it down to 10mm would make it weak.
