only if you want to adjust the PIRO rate and have gain adj on the radio ... I thought id never switch from a 240 to a 401 then i tried it and MAN was i WRONG . People can tell you that i really like fast PIROS and the 401 allowed me to do that ....~TEAM OCHC~

I have a 240 and you can adjust the piro rate by increasing.decreasing the endpoints on the rudder

I have done the same as Rennster.

I run a 240 and a HS56 on the tail - so really not all that great a set up compared to a 401 and 9650.

However for basic tricks, all the beginner stuff and mild 3D it's fine. I will upgrade soon when my flying gets better. Just increase your rudder endpoints to 140% either way.

If ur already a hot flyer tho, and can afford the difference - go with the 401 and never need to upgrade.
