Upgrades.

MMMmmmm. I must have a Synergy V5 as it has had so many mods done DIY.
1.Extra raptor bearings in the flybar support.
2.Ball links cut to length.
3.Fan cover holes lengthened
4.Flybar control arms cut down to stop hitting anti rotation mount.
5.Collets sanded to fit,and fan hub sanded.

Has JK had to do all this? He must have had the same problems I had. I have spent another $180 on bits that have gone wrong. Even buying a new inline clutch and a crown gear.
My N9 has not been crashed and its cost me more in parts than my Raptor which has been in the air fautless and still on rails for over a year.
I bought this because it was meant to be the dogs balls right out of the box. I have spent more time dialling in the start shaft and altering bits to make it work properly than my wife thinks is healthy.

Weird thing is, it doesn't piss me off as it flys like a dream and makes me look better than I am. (And I need all the help I can get )
Yep I agree that the customer support from base camp may not be great but the dealers are more than making up for this.
I don't see anyone selling a second hand one.
Can't be that bad then.

If only I could get one that with some kind of stabalisers on to make hovering inverted easier.
Maybe thats why DROID uses a 14mhz !!!

Had to buy new inline clutch.
New hex adapter (would not come off old clutch).
Supplied grub screw had a flat end and gradually smeared its way around start shaft.
New crown gear.
2 raptor bearings for flybar Carrier to remove slop from shoulder bearings.
New Fan Hub as old one had distorted surfaces for collet.
Shipping was last $10.
$180 dollars total.
I already had sand paper and xacto knife so not included in cost.
