Metal Tail Rotor Parts HS1201-72 question
Have the blade grips been upgraded too? Or are those the stock SE ones?

The original grips on my SE held MR52ZZ 2x5x2.5 bearings on the blade side and MR62ZZ 2x6x2.5 on the hub side. The new grips hold MR52ZZ 2x5x2.5 on the blade side and MR63ZZ 3x6x2.5 on the hub side. The outside dia of the bearings and the thickness of the bearings are the same for the old and the new grips. The new grips, which I have installed, sure look the same as the old grips. I think they're the same grips mated to an improved hub.

My installation:

how many bearings should there be in the stock SE grips?

mine currently have one in each grip and I get a few 16ths of a inch of play moving it in and out on the hub.

i'm curious if this new grip assembly will work with my Heliup tail case.

Thanks kingair, do the blade grips still pull apart a little with these new ones or did the new hub fix it?

I didn't have much time to work on it this week. But it's flyable. I'll bring it out this weekend. I just spent the whole evening rebuilding my rex, and I took your advice on cuting away the antirotation thingamajig, and you were absolutely correct. Now I'm gettting 12 degress pitch, hahahaha... thanks buddy!!
