I've got a question for you all on my Hawk Pro with O.S. 37 and Toki pipe. What head speed are you running for 3D? I am running 1750 in flight mode 1 and 1850 in mode two. I have upgraded to Falcon head(thrust bearings) and tripple ball bearing rear along with GV1. ..Also running carbon blades. Any advice if I can go higher than 1850 or is that about max that I want to run? Reason for asking is it seems the heli is not as responsive with climb out as I would expect. (pitch set +/-10) The engine seems to be tuned well for the pipe. Thanks for your advice everyone!

You mention "carbon blades". As there are big differences in carbon blades,(I have tested some that where worst then the stock woodies), it would help if you mention what brand and size.

Great blades - with your head mod and those blades you can run to 2000 if you want - but at the stock gear ratio that would put your engine out of its best power/torque area, So I would say 1800 to 1900. That will put your engine at 17,570 to 18,544. I find that on the Toki pipe with 20% to 30% fuel on an Enya #3 plug will make for a very powerful and happy combination.

thank you. I am running CY 30 with an OS 8 plug. Should I try the Enya plug in your opinion? I will re verify my pitch settings to confirm Im not taxing the engine at full collective.

The OS8 plug should do the job. The CY exhaust is a tuned system, I believe it came with instructions that give you the optimum motor RPM's it is tuned to. Using the 9.76 gear ratio you can calculate what would be the optimum Rotor Speed to use with it.
