I purchased an item here on RR about 2 weeks ago. I got an email from PP saying that a priority shipping label had been purchased. When I checked the tracking # it said the post office had not recieved the package yet. The guy said he has already shiped the item. What should I do? I have no reason not to trust this guy. If it has been mailed, I don't want to pull my PP funds back, but I don't want to pay for something I didn't get.

whats the exact message from the usps website?

usps has notoriously sh!tty "tracking", ive shipped an item that was insured, priority and everything. it was delivered for 3 days before it ever changed from "item has been accepted by the shippers post office..." or some crap.

2 weeks is a while though, where was it shipped from?

well 1 of 2 things... either they lost it, or as i mentioned its just their sh!tty tracking.

if i were in this situation, i would give it until saturday for it to show up. in the mean time, send the seller a PM/email let him know whats going on and confirm with him that he DID ship it(as it says, "doesnt mean it HAS shipped", just theyve been notified of a shipment).

where was it shipped from?

Two weeks is long for Priority Mail.

I recently received a pipe for an engine. I had asked the seller to send Priority, which he did. I waited for the item and it finally arrived three weeks later. I, too, had no doubt that the item was shipped. It would really take alot of patiences on the part of the person receiving items. All I can say is give it some more time. Contact the seller and let him/her know what is going on. Many times, the other party would just reimburse the funds until such time it shows up.
