Seems that there is a good market here for better designed bleach bottle canopys for just about all RC Helis currently made but the only aftermarket canopys are all fragile and expensive fiberglass.
Given the options for using vinyl appliques or paint on a bleach bottle it even makes more sense to offer something that works. Perhaps there is a better plastic canopy material to be used as well??

I'd rather paint the plastic ones. I think they are easier to deal with. No cracked gel coat etc. But with plastic you have the injection molding costs so you need a quantity that can justify it. That probably scares most away?

I don't know anything about the cost of injection molding but it seems that making these canopys shouldn't be too costly.

For example the Raptor 30 + 50 both use the same canopy so making
a mold of a new style of canopy and then having it made in quantity shouldn't be too difficult or costly. Maybe I'm dreaming?

i used to work as an injection moulding setter and yes there cheap to pop a plastic mould off, i went to DEMAG in telford (big makers of injection moulding machines) open day and they was popping off full hulls of model saling boats (hull and decking and fittings) at 3p a time at 9ec per moulding, now these kits then hit shelfs in a model shop for £300
so no!!! it almost costs nothing to make canopys, but the moulds that make them cost 100.000+ and take along time to make and take alot of setting up
