It really is a quality machine up close and you can see it's built tough - proper tough.

My only concerns are the fact it's DFC we all know if it's not a Compass DFC head it's a faulty design. Torque tubes I hate - although it looks tough and the plastic gear on the tailshaft is designed to be quick replaceable. The battery mount is right off the X7/Logo Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxtrreeeeeeemmeeeee which is by far the best battery mount design.

The electronics, the servos looked awesome, not sold on the Ebar and the motor seemed like it does the job. Overall it's just the unknown bits like reliability, durability over time, maintenance and parts availability/support.

I should also point out there is tons of space on this thing to put stuff. Upfront in the middle out the back, I kept finding hiding places all over it.

Still on first impressions and all things being equal I'd have one over the 7HV, G4 or the X7.

I am in for 30th Kumeu FF . Miss this one and it will be another long while to see an Agile 7.2 in person.
May I add Virgo/Sylphide tail drive, Logo battery mount, perfect control geometry(reserve this one until I fully scrutinise its servo layout with digital calliper) to it? This is really the closest one to my ideal machine.

Hey ya event organiser... are we mortals allowed to bring our helis along or shall we not bothered?
helis, epic gliders, and planes are allowed.

Glad you found a heli you like ian,
The Agile is a nice heli design,
a few things on it disappointed me, but you can't have everything can ya!

ive still yet to find a better battery system than the Raptor G4 or flown a heli that flys better

Maybe the TT e700 will be the one to get.

At this point in time I'd still get the 7HV just because of the unknowns of the Agile. I do hope it does well though as on face value it's a great heli.

My 3Dplus has bell cranks

Sounds like your looking for sponsorship?
At this point in time I'd still get the 7HV just because of the unknowns of the Agile.
LOL, there goes your sponsorship

Hey guys 30th June there is going to be a kds funfly at the kumu club, thanks to hobby station and Steve n.

I'll be helping with some of the organising, feel free to contact me for any questions.

there will be free food and drinks, and Red Bull girls provided a gold coin is always appreciated though

Also some prizes to be won.
And a few mini comps, including speed runs

I'm sure there will be a nz kds team pilot to perform some demos for us too.

The flight line will be slightly modified for the day, we should be able to have 3 guys flying at all times. 1 flight lines dedicated to the crazy guys and 1 for intermediate level or testing and 1 for beginners and 2 squares for hovering.

It will be open to the public, so book the 30th in advance so there is no excuses.

Please send me a text if your able to make it so we can have a idea on how many will turn up. 021149 1233
I'm in guys!

For those interested - So far the Revo 60c packs are performing awesome. They have noticeably more power right through the flight.

So far so good - will report back after 50 flights.

You use the Revos?? I'm thinkin of buyin some as my GensACE are crap
Are you able to measure their inner restance by any chance? With the iCarger? I'm curious?

As you from Auckland r u going to the Kumeu Funfly on 30th? If you bring your revos I can measure them

Great thx.

Check the cells iR and the total iR of the pack. In theory the cells iR must be 0.33mOhm and the total packs iR 2mOhm to be able to deliver 60C (if its a 5000mAh pack)...
