Sponsored JR 550 e6
Finally got the JR 550 going sweet! had a few kinks and small problems along the way but nothin too major!but overall if I had to sum it up in a few words I have to say bloody incredible! the gyro is really smooth and the JR motor is crazzy so much power it's unbelievable!! "unbogable"
super fast super solid! an absolute fantastic heli!
And it does autos like a bigger heli, the blades spin for ages.
Along with great 3D performance it is also really nice for precision hovering and sport flying!

Local guy Tony Parkinson has scratch built this awesome Agusta EH-101, the photo below is what it will look like when it's finished. I was asked to test fly it for him, had a few teething problems which was to be expected but it does fly and I can't wait to fly it properly next time.

This man has an amazing talent scratch building scale helicopters, this is his pride and joy below, apparently I get to fly this too which I can't wait to do.

This is his next project, the air forces' NH-90

7HV review
Just started to get the hang of my 7hv and I gotta say that I love it. This is my first 700 sized heli and I have flown a few other 700 before and the is by far the best so far!
The 7hv has a great deep humming sound to it, it sounds awesome! it has a solid yet smooth feeling to it and does what you want it to!so awesome heli and I love the fact the the design is simple yet great quality with a low part count!

Quick question - anyone used a CC BEC 10amp on a 500 size heli on 6s?

Just ordered one from Kevin but have now read they are a bit dicey on 6s as they are in fact only rated at PEAK 5amps - which defeats the point of me putting it on the Atom grrrr.

Ive read bad things about them. Not enough grunt.

The BEC Pro 2's are a better bet.

Bugger. You'd think a bec which blasts 10amp all over it might actually be 10amp.

Have ordered hobbywing 7.5amp hv instead.

It's really pleasing to hear you are both enjoying the 7HV - I couldn't agree with you more - Best bang for your buck in my opinion
sounds like Mike wants your job

Check it - Compass sent me some fbl units to try out - will put 1 on my 3Dplus and smack it out - keep an eye out for the video.

Just bench tested the CC BEC using 6s - seems sweet. Didn't get overly warm and didn't brown out my sats either which is what I'm after.

I'm going to run with it.
