No Cal 5 parts left but could do a new Compass Sport kit for $299.00 Parts for it a about half the average cost or less than Kyosho, plus it will 3D without bending the feathering shaft in flight

are the dinosaurs that old !!

footey: ...tempting ...tempting !! but i hauled out the old cal 5 slapped some woodie's on it, cranked it up to 2248 rpm slapped in some near-new s3001's in it, it's a crowd plea...err.clearer. Want to do some big air loops with it, so just wondering if there is any spares available to keep this hard 3D speed machine in prestine condition ...

Trust me, he has and we all do leave the flightline to hide behind our cars. We all have an in house wager with what part of the heli will be recognizable when it explodes. It may not quite be 2248rpm but its high enough for us to leave lol

Its going to be spectacular through its first 3D maneuver lol

Maybe it will be the main main drawcard for the Welly funfly!!!!

Tell you what if you get a good video of it smashing full speed into the ground or a fence post or something good I will give you a Compass Knight Sport kit for free.

Stuff it full of cotton wool, soak it in kero, set fire to it. Take off and fly

See how long it takes to fall to it's deserved death. It will be smoking more than an electric that wants the electrons to exit sooner.

Greeting group,
Feel like taking my soldering skill up another level by repacking li-pos with Al tabs. Wonder if anyone can chime in on the paste to use? My research so far yielded "Solder-IT" that is USD$8 and does not require much skill
Onshore product is much preferred.

Cheers,

Sorry, no vids or pics from the Jetsprints. Had an awesome day and the crowd seemed to enjoy the demos. Thanks heaps to Phil for coming down with me and giving the crowd a show with the nitro. It was petrolhead heaven:-) Seriously if anyone has been thinking about going to see these boats in action DO IT they are unbelievable!!! Even just the crashes are worth the trip:-) 1000+hp supercharged methanol burning monsters.
