Weather...
While sorting pics in my camera, I came across this one. I think I will caption this "3C Wannabe"

Phil, drop me a message if you want the source. 8M large.

Jonzey. Mean as looking heli. No stopping you now with a familiar bird. About fitting DFC to 600N, you will find these two threads contain pretty good info:
Thread 1 - no machining
Thread 2 - cutting of mast
But now I just use 600ESP DFC mast H60247. Drops straight in with perfect control geometry only this mast is not long enough to engage 3rd bearing block as 600ESP does not have a 3rd bearing block.

Hay guys!!!
Who here remembers when we were all havin' a good laugh at the notion of my King II Hot-Rod takin' a dip out Queens Warf way?

Well, I found a vid on YT of these daredevils pullin' it off with an Align 450 Pro

Watch at YouTube

I reckon the icing on top of the cake here is when they land it on the water and SHUT the thing down. ROFL it just floats there whilst the pilot and co-pilot are laughin' it up at their antics XD

Hey Phil

That looks awesome. What batteries did you settle on, I'm liking my gensace 1200 25c but wonder if some higher c rating would be good. I keep meaning to look at my flight logs just to see where the current is peaking.

Whangarei Fun Fly
What an awesome time in Whangarei!
Big thanks to Dave for organising the event. Heaps of fun. Great spot!

Some brilliant skills and of course a few spills.

Raynia if ate your carrots, you would've saved it 8-)

Look forward to visiting up north soon.

Cheers
Allen

Truly awesome funfly,
Thanks dave for doing what the rest of us are to lazy to do
Phil's rail blades huh?
Ye there mine

As for the damage report on the rappy, it held up better than any heli ive owned,

The canopy is still very useable a few chips in the paint but nothing a sticker or 2 won't hide.

All the electronics are in working order too.

Main blades and tail blades are gone of course,

As far as raptor parts, not alot, the main bearings didn't feel notchy but i thought id change them anyway. Also the canopy mounts broke of somewhere in the grass.

For those wondering how a rappy handles a crash, now you know

Thunder Tiger , Rail Blades, Byron Fuels, Gens Ace, Scorpion, Lynx
