Nice view, is that close to you? I need to find a small hidden away area in Mangere bridge to fly after work.

4 point paint stirrers!!!!!!! Just watching random vids on the tube and came across this - O for Awesome even stuffs it in at the end
Daniel is a great pilot but he crashes a LOT. I saw him ditch 3 helis in 3 minutes at IRCHA in 07. Never seen anything like it. Loved those 4 point paint stirrers though! I am sure Jonny will have those nailed by the time we go to the Tron this weekend!

Bastian point is about 5min drive from my place. I usually go to the Museum to fly but find there are always people around. Check out this flight area with no people around! You can easily get 5 pilots flying at once here.

Ambury Park looks like a good place for you to fly Jack, at least from google maps.

Hey Ian,

I think James is thinking of selling his 600E, he is addicted to bling and wants the 600ESP, his 600 sure as hell hasnt been thrashed, one lady owner only hovered on Sundays.
I will ask him what he wants for it.

I don't know some of that hovering he does is pretty extreme. Especially when he starts to taunt the fence like last weekend - well we know who won that!

I noticed you don't have any 650l motors on your site, will you be getting them at any point?

Ian,

I dont know if I will get the 650L motor, I got ten of the 600XL motors when they came in and I still have 6 or 7 of them left, they are not a big seller, dam electrc motors don't blow up like Nitro ones I cant make any money out of them, I have the things on the site at near cost and they still sit their collecting dust.
I might see if Align will sell me 2 or three but no way am I going to buy ten, not enough 3D guys flying 600E helis. Everyone is scared of the power.

Jack the Hamilton thing is on Collins Rd, you will see it if you drive down the raod.

Jack - from Auckland I think it's only Jonny and myself heading down but there will be lots of guys from Hammy there too. The field is not where we usually fly but very close. The details for the Club field are here:

Hi Guys ,
The event at Hamilton is a club event participating in a Microlight fly in with Rides being available in aircraft and helicopters ,along with motor cycle jumping ,Bouncy castle , aircraft aerobatic displays, Top dressing displays i think are planned .
The club are operating off a temporary strip with Model aircraft of all sizes along with helicopters .

CAA will be there to ensure we are compiling with their rules.

Our main strip that we normally use will be closed for the weekend with the gates being locked as a safety measure .

Food Stalls will be available for Public use .

We will be in constant communication with the local control tower which will control all full size aircraft movements along with us when necessary , there will be no flying while demonstrations are being held at various times over the weekend which will include Frazer and Johnny.
The main object is to entertain and educate the public, with events being held over a wide area ,
All should have the opportunity to have plenty of flying over the two days the event is being held .

Thought that might be the case Kevin. With prices coming down on Batteries as well as the nzd going back up again things become more attractive.

Given i've got the 500 i'll just stick with that for a bit unless someone has a stupid price on an electric 600.

The dollar is gaining nicley on the USD, it may hit 60 before too long, how long it will stay there no one knows but it may go even higher. I just hope the stock turns over fast enought to keep up, it is hard to keep the prices right when the dollar changes so fast. A couple of cents a month is OK but whne it gets up to 7 to 10 cents it makes a big difference.

What about the $17000 USD worth of stuff I have arriving this week at 53 cents it cost $2700 more just because I paid for it a couple of weeks ago. Thats a months wages down the tube

It would be much easier to have one currency world wide but that will not happen anytime soon.

buy now...I reckon it's a blip and won't stay there. It will go back close to 50c and this is a short term gain.

However if I go buy USD now it will go immediately to 80c overnight
OK OK my glass is half empty today.
