well if you keep in mind that in europe a 611 costs around 350€, 275€ for a 6100 doesnt seem that much. The best price I got for a "gray market" 611 was as high as 335€... still too high for a product without warranty.

350€ = $US 448 btw

Ok, I am haveing problems seting up my gyro. Never set one up before with this technology. The only one I have setup is a 401. This is for my evo 50. It seems like no matter what I do it keeps on turning to the left in rate mode. Also when Im in HH it will hold but it will drift off, and when giving it collective it will do the same thing. Also when setting it up in rate mode how much gain should I have in it. When flying backwards the tail would just spin around without me touching it. Can it be that the pushrod is very flimsy.

Chopperman, you need to adjust the push rod length to ensure that there is no drift in rate (normal) mode, this should solve your issue. I've just set this up on a Dragonus and was amazed at how well it held the tail in T/L mode - no drift for a couple of minutes hovering in wind. You need to read the instructions a couple of times and then it starts to make sense

Did you get it worked out at all chopperman? I don't have one of these gyros (yet ), but it sounds like the gain may have been way too low. What were the gain settings at in rate and HH mode? Also, what radio are you using?

I would like to get more of a response on the 2100 gyro to see how it performs, but since this thread is for the 6100 I will make a new thread to discuss the 2100. I'm very interested in putting the 2100 on my trex SE in place of the 401. I'm going to get a 50 size next spring I think when the weather gets better and I'm pretty sure I'll put the 6100 on it, its sounds like one dialed gyro .

Chopperman1: Show it to BTDT so he can give me some real inside info about its performance. He still swears on the 611 but maybe we both can change his mind

This thread needs a bump. All you other users, hows it holding up. I figured out what was wrong with my tail setup, my tail blade holders were backwards, I switched them around and the heli is ROCK SOLID, I love it. 35% gain. Im in love with my heli now.

I'd still very much like to hear from people that have used the 2100T setup. It looks good, but there's been very little talk about it.

Perhaps people have simply been buying and using the 6100 instead, as it seems small enough to fit anywhere you'd put a 401.

I have used it for a few flights now with the 9650 tail servo. Tail hold is very strong but I haven't cured a slight bounce on the stops, I need a bit more time (and suitable weather) to make some adjustments.
