tail not holding
I have a trex 450 and the tail is rock solid while flying and hovering. But when i stab it it turns to the left. All the time. I do have the blue reduction gears but i am spinning the head at 3000. Should i still just use the white gears. Will the tail be safe at that head speed with the original gears. It is the stock plastic case and blades that come on the ccpm XL. Please give any and all thoughts on this, Thanks.

You didn't say what the gyro and tail servo are.

Try bringing your gain up more, mine is at 70%, also make sure your tail rotation is in the right direction. Your tail should be going counter clockwise when the main blades are spinning.
Good luck!

Use the round servo horn that comes with the 9650 and drill a hole as close to the center as possible. Then increase the travel on the gyro itself to compensate for the now shorter servo horn. Increase your gain until the heli tail wags in fast backwards flight and then back off slightly. I run my gain at about 48 (Futaba 14MZ).

Make sure you have no issues with the tail bearings and also make sure that you are not using the stock thin pushrod that comes with the kit. If so replace it with a thicker rod with no Z bend. 3000 RPM should be fine but the tail will hold better at a higher RPM. I run mine at 3300 and the tail is rock solid.

the headspeed is at 3000. I usually see people with low percentage gains. like ledfoot (40 %). I will bump it up though because it wasn't wagging at 50%. but it did hold and stop rock solid. Is it safe to run the white gears at 3000 on the head. If bumping up the gain doesn't work, i will try the round servo wheel.

I think you would be ok at that RPM with the white gear as long as you have the upgraded tail hub. The secret that I have found to getting the tail to hold on the T-Rex 450 is a servo horn as short as possible and a high gyro gain. The tail may wag in aggressive maneuvers with a high gain but it holds rock solid.
