Crashed! Clutch still good?
How would I tell if the clutch and liner are still in useable condition? The clucth is not broken. The liner is slightly black.

By the way, here is the crash photo. It was the worst chicken dance ever! We could only find one of the flybar paddles! They both sheared off completely. Only second flight with new paint job.

I know a clutch liner is around 25 bucks but it may be worth it I basically trashed one on a hot start. Since you have it apart I would reline it. The clutch itself is pretty tough if it is the hd clutch. the best way to tell if the clearance is ok is to put one strip of electrical tape around your clutch. then see if it fits into the liner. if it goes in easy or you can turn the bell then reline.

Man, that thing really took a beating. You do realize that flying with a new canopy is just asking for something bad to happen.

The beer came after the wreck. I had a few beers left in the cooler from the day before. Maybe that was a bad omen.

I was attempting a piro flip and got disoriented, gave positive pitch while inverted, tried to pull upright but didn't have enough altitude. I hit the throttle hold switch after the bird hit the ground(unfortunatley)but the governor had become disconnected. Hence the total destruction!
My piro flips were perfect on G3. The Stratus had a different piro rate than the Dominion on G3.
You should see the SB16. It looks like one of my empty beer cans!

All parts ordered so should be flying again next weekend.
Clutch checks out good! Sorry no more pics.
