futaba 6ex setup
Firstly heres what's going into my Blade cp

Futaba 6ex-pcm with r156 6ch receiver
E-flite g90 heading hold gyro
Electrify 25amp esc for main rotor
GWS 2 amp esc for the tail (testing to see if this is enough)
oem blade cp 650ma nimh battery
still using stock main and tail motors
still using the stock servos

I got everything installed nicely. Now for the harder part. I'm not sure what the settings should be for the Tx. I did a search and found some helpful information that i'll try but a lot of this stuff is new to me since i never messed with radio setup before.

If I'm using my g90 in heading hold mode; What mode on the Tx should it be set to? Also i didn't connect the wire to ch5 of the reciever for the gain adjustments via remote. assuming i dont need it if i want to use heading hold.

If anyone has a similiar setup could you please post settings. Any comment/suggestions about my setup would be helpful.

thanks in Advance

I am using the 6exh and here is my setup. Your settings may be different than these.

4-in-1 original receiver
Park 370 4100kv brushless main motor
20amp Eflite esc
ICS400 esc for tail
original tail motor
GY240 HH Gyro
10.8v venom nimh battery
sym woody blades
aluminum swash plate
flighttechusa head unit
esky main shaft
----------------
Radio settings (still tweaking)
These channels settings are with the S75 Eflite servos. If you are using different ones such as HS-55 than these settings may be different
ch 1, 4 - normal
ch 2, 3, 6- reversed
ch 5 - not used
D/R set to 100% all channels
Expo set to 0% all channels
EPA set to 100% all channels

N-TH 0-25-50-60-75
N-PI 48-49-50-75-85
Pitch 48 gives me about -2 and 85 gives me +10

I-TH 90-75-70-75-90
I-PI 15-25-50-75-85
Pitch is -10 to +10

Hold set to 0
Revo set to INH (not used since I am using a HH gyro)
Gyro set to INH (not used)

Swash setting is 3-S:
A +60
E -60
P -27

Does your Blade drift to the left (viewing from rear) when you try to take off? Also I noticed after I replaced everything it seems like the main rotor is not tilting the way it should. On the stock blade when I moved forward, back, left or right i could see the rotor move forward, back, left or right.

This is how I plugged in the servos to the rx.

stock (viewing from behind)
ch1 right hand rear aileron servo
ch2 forward elevator servo
ch3 inside 4-1
ch4 inside 4-1
ch5 not used
ch6 left hand rear pitch servo

after changes (stock - new rx)
ch1 - ch1
ch2 - ch2
ch3 - main rotor esc
ch4 - g90 gyro then to tail rotor
ch5 - not used
ch6 - ch6
