Airtronics PCM RX and TJ Pro problems.
Hi,

I just bought a brand new 92186Z pcm rx to use on my EVO50. I am using a TJpro and GY611 combo with it. I previously used the standard Airtronics PPM RX and TJPRO with a GY401/9254 with no problems.

I plugged the TJpro aux connector into channel 7 and and GY611 aux into channel 5 (gyro channel), and did the calibration. When i switched the TJpro aux connector into channel to channel 5 (so i could have a different headspeed for each flight mode with the TJpro) the throttle servo would twitch like it was getting sever glitches.

If i left the TJpro connector in channel 7 or 8 everything was fine. I switched back to the PPM rx for a test, and could did everything i described above without any glitches or problems.

any ideas or help would be helpfull.

Thanks

It isn't working when plugged into channel 5 because the output pulses for channel 1 and 5 occur simultaneously on Airtonics PCM receivers. The TJ Pro doesn't work correctly when both the throttle and "aux" channel pulses occur at the same time.

You didn't have this problem with the PPM receiver because the pulses are sequential, 1-8.

You will need to use a channel other than 5 for the TJ. What I did was use a mix to get the channel 5 settings over to channel 7 or 8.

BTW, this is exactly the same reason Model Avionics put out the notice to 12Z and 14MZ users not to have the throttle and "aux" channel on the same channel group.
