It did not come with a OEM muffler.

Nope. And the Bisson (sport) muffler I have seems too small, volume-wise.

I've been running it on the Bisson but it seems kind of anemic on a 10 Lb. airplane. It'll hover but doesn't have much reserve.

I guess I don't know about the updated carb. What's different about it?

I've tried an OS heli carb and saw more power but, it doesn't like the Perry pump I'm using to keep fuel flowing during hovering. I'm currently using a TT .70 carb, which is still slightly larger (bore)than the stock one.

MDS= .350" Bore
TT= .375" Bore
OS= .400" Bore

The updated carb looks like the carb off of an ASP 1.08. The stock carb was pretty but ran like $hit!
