Logo 14 - Jinxed?
I'm truly beginning to believe that my L14 is jinxed.

First the strange range issue which turned out to be the motor mount.

Then I managed to crash it during test because I had reversed all channels when testing ranges and diffrent receivers (poor pre-flightcheck)

Got it back flying, had in-flight tail control issues, was the gyro sensor cable that got stretched by the canopy (or bad gyro tape), dont really know, issue solved at least.

Today I went out flying, after 3 minutes I got a full PCM lockout, Lucky again, was leveled flight, so I got back control after a second, landed safely.
It was either Bec cable that almost went loose in the receiver, or a plank-flyer with a bad crystal in the radio? (He was on Ch 69, me on 72, got the lockout just when he turned on the radio, was fine after the initial startup of his radio though)

Second flight today, different field, no other around, was hovering nose in, lost aileron/elevator control, didnt go into fail-safe on the throttle though, luck again, was hovering, so I outlasted the lockout and regain control, landed safely.

So Im lucky enough to not get the bird into the ground on every lockout/issue, but I still have THE strangest issues with it...

The last one I dont have any ideas for yet, I hoped it was something easy as linkage arms got caught in the canopy or something, but nope, dont look like it (servo is strong enough to bend canopy if needed)

Sooo...

What do I need to do? Sacrifice a chicken?
Anyone know a good ritual to take care of this mess

Well, a bit of irony here, but hey, it might work..

Have you done this, especially the ferrite ring?

Sacrifice the PCM and get yourself a Spektrum.

@CloudyIFR
Yeah Im using ferrite rings, Range is perfect on ground, and ive flown _very_ far away without issues.
This last thing happened very close to me.
If it was a PCM lockout, then the motor would have shutdown (fail-safe), this was just the servo's affected, very strange.

@WeatherB
Not released in EU yet
However, with the new system that might coming out in october, I will be replacing all of my receivers if they only make the 14MZ module as well, might even think of changing radio if they dont

That's too bad...

Do you have any pictures of your wire routing? Maybe someone can spot something you've overlooked.

Ive ripped out the motor and switched to a Tango 45-07, gonna try that tomorrow if weather permits.

Did a range check (worst possible senario, heli on the ground, had firm rock between me and the heli (heli not visible), heli was nose towards me) and had still a range of about 62 meters (186 feet)(!) with antenna down.

Im thinking something else is generating the glitch, I have the boom grounded, so I suspect buildup in the CF Frame or something.

Well, will see tomorrow.

Good lord Mel, you have worse luck with these machines than anyone I have ever heard of bar none! I have never done the boom grounding, motor plate grounding, all that hocus pocus. All I have ever done on these is apply super o lube to the belt to avoid static build up which, can cause lockouts. Other than that all good no issues to that extreme. I really hope you can figure it all out so you can actually enjoy your heli and see what it is all about. Jee whiz batman! Give MrMel a break! ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Thanks OICU812 that might do the trick.

My L10 3D is the total opposite, I can do whatever I want with it, havent have a single issue with it.

I guess "The Lord gives and the Lord takes" fits right in here.

I wont give up, the flights I got with the L14 so far has been extremly nice.

Notchy high-speed bearings? Loose metal to metal contact? Both of these caused similar issues on my Stratus.

Was out flying today with the Tango instead, not a single glitch.
Might even try out the G3 Receiver now

However, because of fear of glitches, my damn nerves was shot after 10 minutes flight...

I had my first two glitch free flights today.

I think I have been chasing not one, but several things that caused glitches, which resulted if even when I fixed one, I had still glitches because of other stuff.

Or it was just that the heli was jinxed and the new canopy color fixed the problem (could be)

Anyway, I redid everything from scratch, and so far it looks OK, Need some more flights to be 100% sure, but so far it looks ok.
