401 vs 611?
Could someone who has both Futaba 401w9254 and 611w9256 tell me the difference between them in flight? I have 3 401's in a Hornet, Trex, and Raptor 50. I like them a lot. I am beginning to fly backwards/inverted/trying tictocs. Have flips and rolls and airplane type flying and nose in down. I got a Trex 600 and I'm trying to decide if a 611 is worth the money. Thanks.

The 611 will make your heli pirouette a lot faster.

You can setup a 401 to piro fast as h_ll.

But the 611 will keep the pirorate more constant.
It also holds the tail slightly better, a more locked in feeling IMO.

'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

611 is definetely that extra $120 you have to add compared to 401. I swapped 401 to 611 on my R50 during the process of learning backwards inverted flight, slow piroflips. All I can say that my confidence improved greatly with 611.QuickUK Team Pilot SAB Team Pilot

I have all of those gyros, and think the 401 is a damn good allrounder for the money, but 611 is definitely more consistent in terms of piro rate.

But my money would go to CSM for the 720 as it is much more flexible and smaller. especially for the trex600.

Colin..

PS, i have damaged a 502 and a 611 in hard crashes, due to the wires being ripped out of the amp's.
