Has anyone had this happen
Today i was flying my raptor90se about 300ft up and out of no where the heli went full back cyclic and kept on flipping over and over. I hit hold and fought it all the way down. After the crash i took off the canopy and to my surprise the elevator servo horn (push pull) on my 9451 had came off and the screw backed all the way out and the screw was laying in the canopy. I guess my next question is should i blue locktite the screws in the servo horn since they are metal geared. Oh the good news just the main blades ,canopy, and spindle was all that it took out

Metal into metal = Loctite. I thought the star washers were enough and learned otherwise, and luckily not the hard way.

This happened to my 30, the screw came off and the elevator pitched all the way back.

I use star washers all around and that white glue that plankers use. for the screws instead of loctite. It's easier to take off the screws later.
Having my heli: Cool, Having a working heli: Awesome, Having a day to fly: PRICELESS!

Well i guess i can say i learned a really good lesson from this. I still cant believe that the bird held up like it did. The SE is a tough bird. Everyone at the field said it was the pilot I just never quit flying it

I just had a raptor 50 titan go in because of the same thing, only it was my aileron servo horn screw that came out. I got in several uncommanded aileron rolls on the way down before it went it. Kinda fun actually. It took about 3 or 4 minutes into the first flight for it to work loose.

I've alway been used to plastic geared servos and I didn't locktite these in. Never again. I should have caught that; but I paid the price and WON'T do that again.

I had 2 similar events....
I have lost my elevator contol twice. One was a broken horn and the second is unknown but I was missing the rod and one link from the front elevator lever. One link was hanging from the lever.
