CSM RL20. Excellent Gov for the less price. Easy to setup. A buddy of mine has a TJP and we are still trying to get it setup right. I've got two RL20's and they rock. The instruction manual is easy to figure out and it comes with a quick reference card for setup and figuring out the LEDs and RPMs they are indicating.

I have used both the throttle jockey and the rev-max and I would say that the rev-max is the better of the two.

It's hard to say what is the best, until you have tried both gov's, TJ and RevMax are both product of MA, I have and like TJ Pro, easy to install, easy to cal and it will hold your head speed.

Hi,

The RevMax holds the RPM better than each governor that was mentioned here.

Hi Chen,

Does RevMax holds the RPM as TJPro? I thought RevMax is a limiter.

Also keep in mind that with the TJ Pro you want to disable the digital servo feature. It runs much better this way.

Between the 2 I like the RevMax.

But if I was to really make a choice without hijack'n "MultiGov"

Nasscar][,

What's the purpose to disable it? It's should run perfectly if you enable digital servo feature when you use digital servo.

The only time you should disable digital servo feature is when you are using a standard servo, if you are using a digital servo then leave this feature on.

JingshiRap,

A few people at my field and a few people here on RR have had issues when using high speed servos with this enabled.

PM Smex for additional info.

Hi

The RevMax definetly works better than the TJ Pro, you get from your heli much more power and most of the time you don't get underspeed. I believe that happens because this is a limiter.

I was flying a TJ Pro for along time and took part with it in 3DM 2005, I was flying with fast servo and enable this option.

Hope this helps,
Chen
