uh oh, busted TX
when screwing the antenna onto my 10X, the little screw at the base of the TX ripped off. i cant get the antenna out at all, something is holding it back.
when i try to take it out, all it does is spin, maybe a wire is holding it down.

anyone know if i can get parts for the 10X? i wasn't even being that hard on it, its just old i guess.

is horizon hobby the distributor for canada as well? If they are you can mail the tx to them and they can repair it. They are probably not going to sell parts for the inside of the radio.

You will have to mail it in to get it fixed. I tried to get them to mail me switch and they said that they do offer any internal parts to the public.

Solved the problem myself

i just dis-assembled the top portion of the radio. i love this thing, everything comes apart so nicely. its like JR was planning on bad things happening, so they made it easy to fix lol

the screw that holds the antenna itself was lose. so as i turned the antenna, the screw would turn with it. no stripped threads, no broken wires, nothin. little bit of red-loctite and it'll be as good as new

EDIT!!
never mind, i was wrong about the screw spinning. after applying the locktite and testing it before i assembled the radio again, i found the problem was still there. now i know for SURE what the problem was. the base portion of the antenna itself came lose (the brass fitting thats press fit into the tube). no biggy, few bucks for a new antenna.

thanks for your help though guys.
