Anyone using the Nikon D80 for AP?
Just picked this new camera up tonight. Has anyone tried it yet for AP? It came with a really nice lens (18-135mm). Hopefully the gasser will be ok with the extra weight up front. Plan on breaking it in really good tomorrow. Here is a link to the camera if anyone cares to check it out http://www.wolfcamera.com/product/SLR1147.htm?bct=t1134

Thanks,

Jay

I also just bought a D80, but haven't gotten it in the air...someday I will though. What are you going to use to trigger it? I know they sell wireless remotes, but I also saw some $7 wired shutter releases too (like ebay item 220025898229 http://cgi.ebay.com/Shutter-Release...tem220025898229 ) I was thinking of getting the wired remote and figured I could just mount a servo over the button to trigger it...

Here's one of my earlier shots with the 10.5 DX f/2.8G IF-ED AF. It is a VERY NICE lens!

Do you find people like the unique look that the fish-eye gives, or do they more often want the "normal" (non-fish-eye) perspectives...

That picture is really cool.
