Out of control Main Rotor
I just came inside from a crash that made my main motor start smoking and melting insulation and jst plug on it. I removed and discarded motor and replaced with new one. Now, with all the trims to full negative position on transmitter, when I connect battery to the 4-in-1 unit, the main rotor takes of like it is in idle up (which it isn't).

Has anyone experience this problem? Is my 4-in-1 shot and need replaced? Only the main rotor port is doing this.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

the main rotor speed control circuitry of your 4 in 1 has failed in a shorted (full on) condition. Unless you are experienced in the repair of surface mount circuitry, your only recourse is to replace the unit.Gerry Cullan,
