What Servos should i get to replace my hs625mg's on ciclics near crash today :/
Hello

went for a couple of flights today, after fitting my new Quick UK tail box and trust bearings (very nice btw), to find a glitch on the elevator, turns out the Hitec HS625MG, one of the metal gears had worn out where the gear is made there is a flat brass gear with a smaller steal gear pressed in to the center of it, that had separated and worn its press fit out allowing the gear to slip.

So what should i get, don't want to spend more than 30quid each, and want to replace both Aileron and Elevator as a pair.

Not sure i trust metal gears anymore :/ and they were very sloppy anyway.

what are Futaba S3152 like or S3050 cant find allot of info on them do they have duel bb metal or plastic gears ? i think there both digital and can run on 6v and the specs look very close to what i had which one should i get learning 3d trying alot of stuff out etc

my helis spec is

Raptor 50 mainly Quk
os50Hyper
601/s9251 on 5v
Throttle Jockey pro
HS5925mg on Pitch 6v
HS5925mg on throttle 6v
"Dead"*HS625mg Elevator 6v
*HS625mg Aileron 6v
Fromeco Arizona Reg/ 4000mha Durilite li-ion
JR9x2/JRpcm900s
oh and a home made canopy

My thought - the HS635. You *may* even be able to just get the HS635 gear set to put in the 625, but I'm guessing there.

If you want digital, Futaba 9252's are hard to beat for the price but you'll need to regulate the power to below 6V

I'm curious. You have a blinged out metal Raptor with a high end gyro/servo, governor, Lion battery and regulator but want to install cheap servos?
Try Futaba 9252 or similar.

i need to get this fixed for Wednesday m8 and hitec are pants over here for getting spares + i don't think i trust them now as this servo gear failed in a place it shouldn't have imo, i can order two new servos Monday and have them latest wed morning so will still be flying on Wednesday (day off)

635 arnt they slower ? and not digital ? also

Your post said the servo with the bad gears was an HS625MG - that's an analog servo. The HS635 is a faster servo than the 625. Also Hitec makes a Digital version, HS6635. My suggestion was based on replacing the 625 with a better (IMO) but same cost catagory servo. 635 is better because its a bit faster and has the karbonite gears, IMO.

But for the money, I don't think there is much competition for the 9252's. heliproz sells them for less than $70. Not sure if that helps much in England though...

I fly HS635's in my V2 and 9252's on my Titan. They both fly better than the pilot!

OK i like running at 6v for the other servos etc so I'm limited

i was running Hitec hs625mg its been in there a long time so I'm guessing the spec was ok .15 @ 6.5kg 6v, but i would like to try digital

i been looking and only found a few, similar specked is Futaba S3050 Digital 6.5kg @ .16 6v anyone used this servo ?????????? this would be me first choice as I'm skint and can pick up two of these for £60 but will it work as well or better than the hitec it's going to replace.

or i was looking at S9451 Digital 8.7kg @ .10 6v would i notice the speed increase of this servo on a raptor 50 ciclics?? as its £30 more :/

S9252 4.8v not for me thxs

thxs for your input, i know I'm a pain in the ass sorry.
