i just got back from it now, good show, little too cold though.
any of you guys see my Bell 222 fly? hehe.

the only trouble they gave me with it is that i was not allowed to sit on the field and hover with planes in the air incase one needed to come down. so i had to go into foward flight pretty much as soon as i got off the ground and fly pattern....which is boring. i was only up for a couple minutes.

did you make it there?

I did. That was some nice scale flying. We left after the jet failed to take off but before that we saw the other 3D heli fly. Very nice.

Thanks! my Bell 222 seemed to have gotten a lot of attention being the only scale heli there. next year if its still in once piece and the weather is nicer i'll fly it more then i did that day.
yeah, that was Scott Gray doing the 3D demo, very nice flying indeed.
i left after the candy drop. i had to start my 12 hour shift at 4pm.

i just got home from it, and i'll be going back for another 12 starting at 2pm sunday you would think after 6 years of this you would get used to it, but it still ticks me off.

CKCO TV was there, i'm not sure what was broadcasted if anything, i would like to know if my heli made it on tv i dont care if i did, i'm ugly.

lol, i was stressed to the max though. this hasn't been a good year for flying for me. and i have never flown in front of that many people before. i was so nervous that i was flying right handed circuits while everyone else was doing left. just because i thought thats what the rules were, the last time i was at the field i was told to fly right handed circuits. my Bell is a PIG to fly, so scale type flying is what its limited to with its 10 year old OS32.

once i spun up the blades i just took a deep breath and pretended it was just me and my spotter, worked nicely actually.

Yes I went but late because I was working also at morning. I went arround 3:30pm. The first thing I did was to reach you. I was so sorry that I couldn´t do it !
I stay late night to watch Scott Gray. It was really good the night show.
Scott and his wife are really good people (also her father and Mom). I also met Bill Tinsley and his wife. Also good guys and spending good time talking about everything.
The only 3 concerns were: It was cold, driving back late night and only 2 flights of Scott (snif, snif) but besides this, good time.

Today I will visit Cy Paul´s club... good guys because they invited me

Furious Vigor... are you also in a club only for Helis close your town?
