Does anyone have any pictures that would show me how this thing is supposed to be mounted?

Mounted on a Freya...original installation using the stock clamp that came with it (the "Fast Photos" ), followed by the mount after the stock clamp fatigued and broke, and was replaced with a Miniature Aircraft Mount (last pic).

Lube the O-rings with vaseline to make them slip into the muffler easier.

Did you need to fasion some custom parts to do that? The stuff that came with mine looks a lot different.

Yes -- for the Freya I had to buy a few extra threaded spacers, and then made that small flat plate that the clamp is mounted to out of piece of 1 inch by 1/8th inch aluminum I got from the local Home Depot. A few extra 3mm bolts and nylon lock nuts, and I was in business.

The exact method of mounting will depend on what heli you are putting this muffler on, and what's available on the frame to mount to. Time to be creative.
