On my
Raptor 90se i run a OS91sz-h with an 8.23 gear ratio i run a head speed of 1950rpm and it flies great gv-1 gov set 1800 st1 1950 st2 off on normal

Tempest FAI,Stratus,Fury Extreme,Raptor90se,Rex450se,vigor cs, wow I have a real problem

If
your doing hard 3d 1950 is good i think 1850 is what recomended

I have found that 1850 works out best. Anything higher and you have to reduce the pitch too much.... BTS

You can set Idle 1 with 1850 and +/- 10 degrees and Idle 2 at 1950 and +/- 9 degrees to start with. After you fly that for a while you can fine-tune the setup to what you like the best.

I feel that to many flyers just copy a setup that someone recommends. That is probably not the best for you. You really have to experiment a little. When I was just starting 3D the setup that I liked is different than what I fly now. As you fly more you will develop your own technique for maneuvers and the best setup for you will probably change over time. Don’t worry whether it’s 1850 or 1950. Just get flying and develop your own opinion.

I agree with Ben. 1850-1950 is a good ballpark range, you should try a few rpm's inbetween and see what you like best.
