JR Parkmite - anyone checked it out yet?
I've seen lots of threads here showing extreme uilds on the CP and Eksy frames - wondered if anyone had considered just putting all that $$$ into a second heli that comes out as or more capable in aerobatic flight as the CP.

I've had a chane to fly one and I must say it's pretty impressive - exceleelnt response, plenty of room for radio equipment and belt driven. You can get more details on it here:

If anyone's flown one, post your results and opinions here - I'm seriously conssidering abandoning my brushless CP project to go with one of these!

It is a bit pricey but the parts quality is outstanding. If you haven't seen one up close it's easy to come to that conclusion. Up close, your mind will change.

Wow, $600 and it still needs a radio and battery. I think $600 in mods to a CP would be as good if not better. You can always tell a pilot, but you can't tell him much!

600? LOL.. dont know where you are shopping. And 600 in mods to a BCP no longer qualifies it as a BCP. I guess you mean if you don't already own a radio.

Again... sounds like neither of you have actually SEEN one. Again... whatever! Enjoy

still no comparison... to each his own. Again .. if you needed all that equipment, yeah. Anyway... boring thread by now. Keep on trucking..... Ferrari vs. Fiat (as far as craftsmanship goes).

if this little bird is anything like the Vibe 90 then I can see where you'd get the opinion that the quality is worth the price. I'm not too big a fan of JR SM series servos but the Vibe 90 and 70 are both very well built birds. In fact before I bought the Revo at the tremendous deal the Vibe 70 was high on my very short list of potential next birds. I still might look into one if the prices ever come down to my level of affordability.

I havent seen one up close but from the look of it I'd say it is well up there with its bigger brothers in quality and robustness. Let me know how she flies.
