glitch on trex 600
My align 600 works well on hovering mode when I switch to idle up 1
then start doing tictocs & tumbles, I'm experiencing glitches. so I slow down my single input manuevers cause of these glitches. I already add another ferrit coil to the ESC lead. I'm using a supreme 8 rx & a Futaba 14MZ transmitter.

any body out there has an opinion?

TNX, aloha all,

Ringo

I suspect you might have better luck with PCM. Do you have the R5014DPS receiver to use with your 14MZ?Trooper Sam

Why may I ask, would you put a 45 dollar POS Rx like that in your 2K heli when you also can afford to use a 14MZ?

I see people with this problem on their 450's ALL the time. They put the best of everything on the bird and then slap on whatever garbage Rx they can pull out of a bin somewhere.

Ditch the Hitec and swap in a Futaba PCM Rx, you'll be instantly happier.

I went through this problem. PCM did not help me. Only thing that solved it was a $200 spektrum radio. I swapped everything out 3 times over and nothing fixed it. Not wiring, not insulating, not a bec,not a jazz ESC.. nothing. I had to stop using my futaba 9ZHP ($1200) and buy a spektrum radio ($200) and what do you know.. it woks perfect now!

I'm waiting for the new 2.6ghz tx modules for my 9Z.. then we are really set for life! They will be here in october.. hopefully..

Please let me know if you solve your problem.
Search for my thread titled "Huge cut out problem, tried everything SOLVED"
by clicking search and typing "HUGE SOLVED" and hit enter

I had the problem on both my 600, and on my 450 SE.
My nitro Raptor 50 flew just fine, never a single glitch EVER!
I am beginning to think futaba doesn't like carbon fiber. There was none on my Raptor, but the 600 and 450 are full of carbon, and have the problem. PCM or not, I still had motor cutout issues.

wow!!! i hope mine doesnt create the same problem,i would be very disapointed if it went in on the first flight,is the spectrum the same as the 72 mhz?will it have the same coverage as the 72 mhz
line of sight is about half a mile or so,well i know is more than a mile but we never fly any further than half a mile

I found out that one of the ball links came out from one of the levers. Maybe this is the cause of the crash and my main gears are stripped that means the motor is not on the failsafe.

I have about 30 flights on my 600 w/149 recv & 9zhp with no issues. Hopefully you will figure out whats wrong with yours. I also put in a 148 pcm in my 450se after having an electron 6 and it was glitching more than flying spent hours rerouting wires etc with the electron 6 never could fix it. I have had the 148 for about a year without a single issue I even have the ant tie wrapped to the CF frame.

I had glitches and I tried everything.
A ferrite ring is not enough.
The best thing is an opto-isolator and a BEC.
Then your power system is completely disconnected from your control system.

one thing that definitely worked for me was 1) insulating the power wire to the rx from the BEC... I used shrink wraps all the way. 2) routing ur antenna wire from the back of the heli into the antenna tube. 3) using pcm transmission. 4) putting a small device called the GLITCH REDUCER between the esc end connector and the rx. that should definitely solve MOST problems.

the Glitch Reducer maybe found at http://www.rcworldofplanes.net

One warning, at least at 35Mhz (dont know how the 72 is) the 5014DP G3 Receiver is NOT for high voltage Electric heli's, ive done extensive study on it, its inpossible to use them, they are way to sensative.

Ive notified futaba and they will look into it, but when and how, I dont know...
