Trying to figure out how to save space and store my helis. Any advice?
I hope Radiobob dont mind me using his pic. My appologies if you do I will remove it just send me a pm. Was thinking of going this route but have conerens of them giving way and causing 4 more or less boom strikes. Or is this a safe route to go? As I do like the way it looks. Just trying to make more room in my hobby room to start building my planes again. 4 helis do take up abit of room. Any advise guys?? Much apprieciate it.

I don't have any suggestions, but like you, I've been looking for the best way to store them as well. The wire rack looks like the best method I've seen thus far.

A different hanging system, but I hang mine in a storage closet. It frees up counter space when not flying often or beeing worked on.
I use the large coated hooks from the hardware dept.(the type for hanging bicycle's)

Sweet rack. What is holding the tails in place, hard to see. And how are they held in place at the top on the wood. Many thanks..

The rail is simply a 1 inch furing strip that I power stapled (they hold better than nails) a 1 1/2 inch oak strip that is about a 1/4 inch thick onto it leaving a half inch lip to hold the skids. The tails hold themselves to the wall via gravity. I sliced a kids pool float "worm" into 3"wide pieces and cut a slot part way thru and slip them on the fins to protect the wall and the fin. Simple but effective.Highly addicted to carbon fiber.....

Thanks Jim, will look into something along that line then.. Many thanks again.

Heeeee cnsheets, used to live in San Berdo years back. In Highland. Dont miss the heat at all. Now anything past 85 degrees and I will melt
Miss the amusement parks though. But thats what vacations are for. Its sad the impact Berdo took when Norton AFB shut down.

Won't store 4 (maybe 3) but maybe you could find something a little larger.
