Light white paddles for raptor 30 V2
I'm thinking to use the light paddles on my raptor 30 V2, I think this would make my raptor more responsive to collective/cyclic input, anybody have ever tried these kind of paddles? if so what effect you have noticed with them

I've used the green TT paddles on a 30v2 before, in place of the stock black ones. It definately made the heli more "spunky"...

armadillo paddles questinn.
The stock black paddles are 50 grams each, the white paddles are 20 grams each and the green and now the new blue and new red paddles for the 50 sized 3mm flybar are 15 grams each. Saw the blue and the red ones in an add here on RRDR with Titan stuff at the top of these pages in one of these pictures there.

Black paddles = 30g
white paddles = 25g
PV0482 g/b/y = 20g

I fly the white on my Titan and green on my V2. My V2 with a 2k HS is VERY responsive. (see my gallery)
I'd recommend ordering both sets and start off with the white. put the 20g paddles on once you want more than the 25g+2000 HS offer.

if your just hovering a doing forward flight still no loops or roll stick with black they r more stable .lighter paddles will react quickly to your input giving u less chance to make a correction before u get into trouble and will load the head quicker, so make adjustment in your thr-ele and thr-ail mixes accordingly

I'm thinking to start with the white ones, I want to start making flips, rolls and all that stuff I think this would make less heavy the raptor to perform these maneuvers, I'm feeling very confortable doing normal flight, fast pass by, hovering, circles, eight figures, nose in, etc, do you think it's better to start doing flips, rolls, inverted flight with this paddles?

i went strait from stock ones to green there not a huge diference between the white and green that your notice m8 trust me

save the money and get a set of greens

there dont make the heli all twitchy they just speed things up nicely

ok the raptors flip fine on standard padels
what they wont do is roll nice

ie you cant roll em over on there self with stock padels
with the lighter padels there roll real nice other that that it will give you faster reaction on the stick

just go stick a set on and fly a few figer 8 to get used to em and your forget there on there honist.

you just find you can slap it around the air faster.

Speaking of paddles...
Has anyone done any research on the weight to response time on paddles? I've got some white 22gram paddles and was curious as to how each weight sized paddle reacts. Anyone got a chart or some data that kind of fills in this info? An enquiring mindlessness wants to know.

Later...

You might try doing some inverted flying with the black paddles. You can do some of the other manuvers also. The light paddles are not a requirement to do loops/flips/rolls, they help most with timing maneuvers like tic-toc's.

IMO the stock paddles would just about do any trick in the book as long as you know how to do the maneuver correctly.

It's not the paddles that matters, it's your reflex.
