Removing connecting rod OS 91
How do you remove the connecting rod from the crankshaft? OS 91 PS

Take out the cylinder first (carefully).
Turn the crank so that the conrod/piston is at the top dead end and wiggle the conrod at the connecting point of the crankshaft.

first remove the cylinder liner.

sometimes you can just pull up on it but more likely, you'll
need to open the back of the engine and stick a finger in there and
push up on the liner to start lifting it

before removing the piston, mark the top of it w/a pencil on the
side that goes toward the exhaust.

you'll notice that there are TINY roll pins installed in the
top of the crankcase and also in the top of the piston where the
ring is.

the ring edges MUST be over the pin whhen you try to reinstall it
and the liner MUST be over the crankcase pin when you resinstall it
