Strange pitch range
My R50 V2 is about 4 gallons old.
Yesterday I removed the head block to balance it.

I reassembled it ,and when I'm trying to set the pitch range again I notice that one blade is -10 - +11 and the other blade is -11 - +11 .

I don't see any slope in the head.

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Was your swash plate absolutely straight?

I didn't change any of the links.
I think it's straight but also if it's not , I'm measuring the pitch of the two blades in the same place. I.e I rotate the blade to my direction and measure the pitch and if the swash plate is not absolutely straight it should affect the same on the two blades measurment. won't it?

When you check your pitch, do you check the stick neutral position first? Both blades should be zero at that point and washout lever level etc etc.

I then check the +/- pitch range. I've done few rebuilds this way and blades tracked perfect most of the time. If the double links have different length and blades tracking corrected with lower long links, it is possible to have non symetrical ratio. But, it has to be grossly out to do that.
