Weird pitch on raptor50
I'm having the worst possible time ever with my heli and since almost all the guys in my area r plank flyers they keep telling me to ditch the heli and take up planks! First the piston on my hyper broke, then the clutch gave up. Now I can't seem to get the correct pitch range. In IU1 and IU2 it's +/-10 but for some reason in normal mode it's +13 and at full negative it's almost 0 Till yesterday it was -6/+10 in normal mode. The heli was shaking so much on the ground, I thought it'd explode. That's when I checked the pitch and discovered this. I've checked and rechecked the links etc but can't seem to fix this! The last couple of weekends I haven't been able to go to the field because of these problems, I'm desperate to resume flying now.

what TX are you running?
Assuming you have not adjusted the swash/hiller links, or the collective pitch link or servo arm point, then it would be in the TX.

If you run a Futaba, this could be "hover pitch" or one of the hover travel volume limits being active, and now your sliders or knobs are in a different position than when you set the heli up.

It's a JR9303, I checked and all is ok there. The pitch on one blade is ok, it's the other which keeps giving the weird pitch settings

Double check and make sure all your linkages are equal. There should be 2 of each linkages.

Make sure none of the rods are bent and check all the screws holding the balls on.

Did you check the feathering shaft? That may be bent
Has your R50 been crashed?

For the radio try to open a new model and reprogram it. Center your sticks and make sure the pitch is at zero for mid stick.
Don't adjust the pitch curves until you get everything all centered.

Hey maybe it's your plank buddies that is causing your problems hehe They prob did something to your heli so you will change your mind and go back to planks. J/K

TonyTypeS, furyturd thanks for ur posts I had changed the feathering shaft after a crash, although it seemed ok to me. that's when this pitch problem started After reading Tony's post I put on the old feathering shaft and the pitch is fine now. I guess the problem was with the new one.
