I have no glitches, dumb thumbs maybe, well er yes, dumb thumbs,

but I fly well enough to know when a glitch happens,,,,,,,,,,,

I run the RC Hover Glitch No More, cost is cheap but requirew you to solder some stuff into the circuit

better than the ferrite loops which are passive devices,,,,,,,,,

also, compoinent placement is critical,

having all the srvo wires pass the ESC and the Rx under it, or on top of it is asking for trouble,

none, nada, no glitches,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

running an HDE metal boom, plastic frame, Electron 6 Rx, CC 35, and Align motor, 401 and plastic 56's,,,,,,,,

rock solid near me and with the antenna down too,,,,,,,,

away from me, still solid until I can't see orientation, then the dumb thumbs or bad eyes take over, but still no glitches,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Had glitches/cutouts, no more. Went to Jazz ESC, Futuba PCM receiver, never a glitch or lock out since. Running carbon frame, rock solid using 430L or Hacker A20 motor.

I had plenty of glitches with my SE, I used (and still use)
a Schultze (PPM) receiver. I got rid of glitches by using a micro
antenna and routing the wire that goes from receiver to antenna
so that it does not touch the CF frame. The wire is inside
a protector mesh and attached only to (plastic) landig struts
as is the antenna. Since that I have noticed no gliches at all.

Hi,

Ordered a Jazz esc, but I'm still can't decide which motor I should get to replace my 430L I was going to try the Aon, but then I've seen post about the Hacker, Medusa etc.

I need a good motor that will work with TP2100 3s, I know the 3s motor topic has been beating to death, but I still can't decide. Help what one should I buy that won't disapoint

Simon.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Medusa/Jazz combo. I'm currently running:
Aon-35G esc/ccpm, Electron6, GY240/HS55
430L-35G esc/SE Futaba 146i PCM, GY401/9650
Deans antenna on both.

Plenty glitches in the ccpm solved by elec placements. Bad servos twice in the SE. I started with Futaba 3107's (Hitech 65HB's in both now).

3D2me= One eye on the Tx, one on the Heli and my thumbs in between.

Simon read the supertest reports and then you may have a better idear.

I would post the link to the supertest but it is not allowed on this forum to post links to the trex tuning.com/3s-supertest.php or .com/4s-supertest.php

I’m sad to say that I also had a serious glitching issue today and crashed my TREX 450SE. Two mins. into a nice flight it just locked out, then recovered, then did it again, it took 3seconds to hit the ground with no signs of recovery but still full power.

I had about 10 successful flights and had recently rearranged the layout to move the gyro up front into a safer position as per JK.
Before my JR 770 RX ( yes the one that cures the glitching) was up front. The RX distance from the ESC (now up front too) was about the same, and just a little closer to the motor but still 4cm away.

So I guess when I rebuild it I will go back to my old configuration, RX up front, Gyro on the back mount, ESC under the main gear/ fan.

Anyone else had more or less success with the gear positioning?

With the Jr 770s pcm tx if the system had gone into failsafe then the throttle should have gone to the closed position.
Unless youn never set the throttle channel for failsafe and left it on last good known position.
