Futaba S3151 servos
Im planning to buy my first nitro bird and still caught between the r30v2 and the r50titan. can i use the 3151 servos that came with my 7chp on any of these birds?

adequate for learning in either bird.
Sub par for beating in the 50. You will want 9252's if you stay with Futaba servos at some point.
I would say the 3151's will work till you progress to wantinmg to do actual 3D. They will run through learning to hover and basic aerobatics.

I ran Hitec 425 standard servos in my R30 when learining and they were more than adequate

Thanks im a newbie and this will be my first bird. i dont really plan to do any 3d's just want to be able to hover and some flyby would be more than enough

How true. If you can afford buy 9252s. Good servos definetely worth the money. They will pay themselfes later on.

If you're buying new servos, take a look at the the Futaba 9451 as well. I've owned a lot of servos (including 9252s), and the 9451 is the best I've used on a helicopter. Very fast, tough gears, very precise. I'm running them on a Fury, and the response is incredible.Nick Crego

You will like the precision and centering ability of a better servo. At first I too was unsure about upgrading to higher quality servos, but after you fly it with better servos you will feel the difference(no JR pun intended, I fly Futaba).
