Ok I have been flying normally for quite a few months now.

Hover tail in and out and can do figure 8s, fast or slow.

I can fly sideways or backwards and hover it back to my feet, etc.

So I go on the G3 Sim to practice inverted...

I FINALLY can do a left turn and control it and go around and round..
I cannot do right for some reason yet..

But this is the frustrating thing.. after doing this for an hour, My NORMAL flight is all screwed up!

I cant even fly figure 8s anymore without nosing into the ground.. my brain is all wired wrong now..

Is this normal ??

Heh - Yep - Happens to me a lot - It'll come back to you - Sometimes it's like you take 2 steps forward and one step back - But you still get there in the end.

Yeah that happens.. Usually my problem is figuring out how to fly forward inverted after practicing some backward inverted..

What you have to do is go back and refresh yourself by learning how to fly again. Won't take long to come back to you. Then go back to flying inverted. Then go back to flying normally.. Essentially you're expanding your flight skills, but at the same time you're spreading your skills a little thin - so you've got to beef them back up all over again.. But now you can fly upright perfectly, and toss in some inverted and actually know what you're doing =]

haha ya..

I can now fly inverted and do figure 8s without "thinking!"

and then can traverse the same path right side up and switch between the 2..

I will pratice it more then I will work on backwards..

backwards is tough in real life as the tail doesnt hold as well as I would like so I am fighting the tail at same time.

I am practicing on G3
