Servo setup question.
I would just like to verify before setting up the servo horns. I would assume that you put the collective at 50% when setting up all the servo centers for aileron, elevator, and pitch. This is the first time I have set-up a CCPM system and I don't want to mess it up. Looks very straight forward though. Thanks in advance.

I usually set my AFR on all channels to 0 and go from there when setting up the horns and bellcranks and stuff. Once everything is setup then increase your AFR to your desired settings to set your pitch and cyclic ranges. You could bump the stick and not even know it and when you go setting stuff up it wouldnt be perfect, which is how I prefer it. Get a swash tool if you can. What bird are you setting up? Check out Finless's videos over on heli freak . com of him settin up a CCPM bird. It will help you a lot if this is your first CCPM setup like you said it was.

yup leave stick at 50% or half stick, if you have a 14mz go into the servo monitor and turn on neutral test that will center all servos and no matter what stick you hit it will not move any servo it locks it in center...

Thanks guys for the info. I am going to check out the video on the other site. I have the 9303 and I watch the pitch curve and monitor the stick input until I get to 50. My pitch curves are linear right now so it makes it pretty easy. Thanks again
