I just got the Berg 7....I haven't fully tested it yet, but it seems my old Berg 6 didn't have as much glitches as the new Berg 7 does. I did this comparison on the same heli. The only part being different is the Bergs. I pretty much didn't get a glitch on my old Berg 6 but got more than a few on the Berg 7. I'm somewhat disapointed...But as I said, I need to do more testing.

I did try the bergh 6 on my lepton. That receiver was on a Logo 10 for 2 years, and never had a single glitch, (that was used with a Hitec eclipse transmittter).
Now I have a Futaba 9 super, so I decided to use that receiver on my new Lepton. After the fifth flight I had a fail safe (the bergh even though is FM will do the same than a PCM if it has loss of signal), and that was 20 feet from a friend and myself and that thing did not respond and was coming straight at us...Pretty scary, manage to land Ok, and from what I learned later from Rocheleau, is that the combo Futaba 9/bergh is a no no because, of a glitch in the Futaba software with this receiver...So I hope this helps, and in my opinion considering the price of the Lepton parts I would suggest you match your receiver with the same brand than your transmitter, and use the manufacturer crystal.

Regards

Mike
