Sony Cybershot W 30 comments
I'm using the Sony cybershot W-30 6 MP for my AP business I'm not very happy with the results,I mean pics are ok, but I want super sharp. anybody using this camera as well? I would appreciate someone elses opinion on the camera. I think the pics could be sharper, is 6.0 MP too little?

I'm not using the W-30 but I don't think the resolution is the problem.
Did you try some other settings? If the pictures are blured the shutter speed could be too slow.

I have one that flies around on my TRex and Swift for practice. Its really not suitable for professional or commercial results. Although its not horrible for shooting low level photos and residential or accidents, its not going to stand up next to a pro photographers work. I have a Canon A620 that is much better, thats about as big as you can go. Practice with it, if you get with that, you will be a pro with a bigger heli\camera\downlink. Its a great camera to take pictures of family and friends though! If you give a Chimp a gun, and the Chimp shoots, DONT BLAME THE CHIMP!!!!

cranester,

I don't meant to doubt your photographic skills, but what exactly were the setting you used in those photos.

Also, is it a Zeiss lens in that camera? I can't remember.

Hey, did you try setting your focus to infinity?

I know, you may have, but I thought I'd ask just to see.

If you haven't, go ahead and try that and see if it helps.

Also, maybe experiment with shutter speed.

I have heard that some Sony's are a little softer than they should be. That is a possibility, but it doesn't hurt to try some other settings just to see.

Good luck!
