.. Ok. that might rightly be a third use of that term.

The one i am talking about is GWB's use of the term.
HALIFAX, Nova Scotia — President Bush yesterday challenged international leaders to create a new world order, declaring pre-September 11 multilateralism outmoded and asserting that freedom from terrorism will come only through pre-emptive action against enemies of democracy.
I think democracy is great, no problem --- till.. they have the ambition to spread it elsewhere. Its fine if it is earned or established by folks by their own desire and comitment to have it, but when it is brought to them with guns and rehtoric like "new world order" "enemies of democracy".. it is going to apear to some to be more of a political crusade. The more ambition and rehtoric and guns you throw at it, the more it looks like a crusade to more people, and the more they are going to fight back.

If we had a smarter president he would not be saying phrases like "new world order" and "enemies of democracy" He even called it a "crusade" a time or two... he does huge damage to his own cause everytime he says that, and he has no clue.

they arent enemies of democracy if they dont interfere with our or other peoples democracies. if the middle east wants to do their thing, whatever, but if they are crossing their borders and ruining the lives of other citizens, or the defenseless citizens of their own countries, thats when something could be done.

nwo is a stupid phrase but it does hold negative connotation to most people. they are familiar with it meaning some sort of totalitarian regime controlling whole continents in a sort of tyrranical setting.

Amen to that Jitsu

You wanna talk about power follow the money. The federal reserve system is where all the power lies. And the root of most of our economic problems, not to say though that we arent to blame. Even if it were gold, they would just confiscate it again like they did in '33. Cant have people hoarding gold devaluating their precious currency even more.

And depending on how you look at it, this new world order that some people seem to be afraid of isnt some grand conspiracy, it is a natural progression. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Those in power will seek more of it, by eliminating borders and strengthening organizations like the UN. That is what is at stake with the illegal immigration issue, the politicians see it as a way to shore up their dwindling base, labor unions see it as a way to shore up membership and their profits. Ultimately if not stopped it will lead to a NAU, and with an estimated 11-20 million illegals already here we in this country have an uphill battle.

Oh yeah, and I dont think that the Masons have the influence that they once did in this country. Not to say they couldnt be with Im sure what amounts to thousands of members. Of course since it is rather secretive I could be wrong..

You're right about following the money... The Fed and the history of the Fed is a topic worth researching. Ultimately, it's owned and operated by private investors, many of which aren't even believed to be American but rather European (the people we tried to escape).

Not to open another can of worms but many believe this was the real demise of JFK. He wanted to abolish the Fed and put real money back in our pockets.

There is a city hall in most places to, the fact that it is there doesnt mean a thing. Look at how many libraries there are, that doesnt mean there is some insidious plot for librarians to rule the world through the control of information.

Yep, do a search for Jekyll Island and Fed and read up, pretty interesting stuff. Though be careful because some of these people take it to the extreme.

True, but look at how little people know about the government, or that the fed is a private bank. Most people dont think it affects them or just dont care."There is a fine line between cutting edge and bleeding edge.."

I googled and found quite a few sites. Any good samaritan sort of guy can join. The impression i got/get from Granddad and the websites is it is a religous group but they don't care about all the details that seperate presbeterians from baptists from catholics etc etc... they would rather be putting together bloodbank drives, scholarships, clinics... than sitting around being preached to. Great concept IMO.

This site has the most information I have ever seen about it, including links to people who make all the NWO claims about them. I know quite a few people who are Masons, the only conspiracy they are up to is how to get in more flying time..

From what I've read, nobody is stating all Masons are up to some grand Conspiracy. Some state that only a select few of them are.

The Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not freedom from it.
Actually it guarantees both, it meant that you are free to believe what you want, but that is not the same as saying it meant you have a god given right to shove it down other peoples throats, which is exactly what would happen if any one religion gained any official recognition as the states official religion.

If people want the freedom to practice their chosen religion, then others must also have the freedom to be free of it at the same time if they so choose, and those choosing to believe something should recognise the freedom of others to not be subjected to it.

On an individual level "Freedom of religion" has to also include freedom from religion, or it would be essentially saying that you are free to have a religion, but you must have one, you cant not have one.

On a governmental level, it should be taken only as freedom from religion, so that no religion has any power over the government, ie the government should be free of religion.
