Jim,

If you use the plastic mixing arms, you need to change the seesaw bolt to a button head so that the arm clears (or grind off some plastic.) The frame spacer sounds like a good idea, but the washers do look good.

Ok,
how about the 680's on a 90 thing?
A quick swag is the TT 680 blades have 5 or 6 percent more blade area than the MAH dual taper 690's.
Assuming I run the same 8.45 gearing on my YS91, and go from +/- 10 degrees to maybe +/- 11.5, what could I expect to see?

Jim, you could use whatever works to space out the balls so they are centered on headblock. Spacers, washers, etc.

As for the blades. MAH blades will almost always be faster all other things being equal - when side by side with other blades. Remember, life is a tradeoff.

From above:

Radix and V blades are an example of blades that have relatively neutral chordwise CG's with neutral spanwise CG's. This yields a good balance between aggressive and stable flight characteristics. MAH blades will typically have an aft chordwise CG and inboard spanwise CG in comparison. These are a very aggressive blade and have fast cyclic characteristics.

TT blades are relatively neutral, similar to Radix and V's in their balance. I'm not saying a TT blade flies like a Radix or a V - but in terms of balance, they are similar.
