fail Safe FF9 Super - Question
Hi All Just wanted to check something with you,

I have a hotcat witht he PHT3,

The way i turn on the turbine on is this way

1. INCREASE THROTTLE TRIM TO HALF WAY - Lights Start Chasing
2. MOVE THROTTLE STICK TO FULL- turbine ignition seq starts
3. bring throttle back to bottomw and wait for the turbine to reach idle
4 CLICK INTO IDLE 1 GO FLY

i used to use the centre rotary pot VRB as the throttle channel and plugged it into channel AUX chan 7 on RX (149dp)

but after reading the intrsuctions on the Fail safe in the jetcat manual it said that once it goes into failsafe it will go to the programmed setting but if it comes out of fail safe mode it will go to last throttle position, which means on the rotary knob full bore - and i felt it was easier to click a switch when seeing your machine heading to terra ferma rathar then remeber to turn a knob.

So i re learnt the fail safe - all is well, but when i went to programme it i noticed the idel position on my TX was at min but the throttle read out on the GSU was at max, i reversed the throttle channel and it started at lower number and as i increased the trim the number went up,
i just wanted to make sure that this was the reason - and that i did need to reverse the channel.

As it confused me as there is no throttle servo, like on an IC.- can someone explain why you still have to reverse it,

Many thanks

Matt
