Refunds?????
Something to watch out for....
Recently I had purchased some goods from Cyberheli only to find out that they did not have them in stock. The money of course was accepted through paypal.

After 3 weeks wait I decided to cancel and ask for a refund through paypal.
The cost after the exchange rate from paypal was $120.00 !!!!

What an expensive lesson that was.

People will gladly accept your money just about anywhere and then give you good service if you are lucky. It should be provide the service then get paid if it was acceptable. lol I know that wouldn't work ether, but it would be fun for a while to see how things would turn out."Respect my Authoritiah!"

Its better to ask a quote first and once the dealer gives it and assures you it has the items in stock, make the payment.

Until now I've been lucky and never had a problem with any supplier. Most of them only charge my CC once the items are about to leave. I even have the luck of having some suppliers (Mainly Spanish and German ones) that send out the merchandise BEFORE payment. Heck, sometimes I don't know how much I have to pay until I open the box and check the invoice.

I know this isn't common practice and most stores would probably go out of business with it but its a nice touch giving "known good customers" a little slack

I had purchased about $1470.00USD worth. And yes their system had said they had stock, thats why I had gone ahead with the order.
Only then did I find out that they were waiting for some items.

Maybe pay pal should work differently it would be easy to stop this from happening example below.

Customer sends money to dealer via paypal but paypal HOLDS the funds
Paypal notify dealer that funds are ready they must now ship goods
customer receives goods and notifies paypal to tranfer the funds they are holding.
If good haven't arrived by a given amount of time then funds are returned to customer.

Of course this has a downfall of the customer may say they haven't received the goods knowing paypal will return the funds, but this can be avoided if the dealer supplies a tracking number to paypal that shows the goods were delivered to the address the dealer was given.

Maybe that way paypal can justtify the amount of cash they charge for thier service.
