Trex 600 batteries!
Is there any way to make this (or the align packs) balance connector into two 3s ones? Please!!!! I dont wanna buy a whole new charger, its either a charger or one more battery. Or is it worth it to buy a 6s charger? Will it charge faster? I currently have a triton charger. and an astro blinky.

Holy macaroni you didn't look into this before buying the 600 or what? Yes it is worth every penny to buy a bigger better charger if you are going to stay in the hobby. Buy a thunder power 1010 or something and nver look back! ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Ok... ok all you need to do to utilize the 3S lipos you may have is to make a series plug, super cheap and easy to do yourself, here is a pic.
If you wanted to charge the 6S lipos like your link you would need to upgrade your charger, the Triton will "not" do over 4S lipos from my memory. You would need to purchase a Schulze 330D or a TP 1010 or equivalent type charger. Also recommend a balancer to accomadate your range of lipos charging. The Blinky you have also will not do the more lipo cell count.

He doesn't want to use 3s lipos, he wants to charge a 6S lipo on a 3s charger like I do.
My 6S packs have 2 3S balance connectors tho so it's a bit easier.

However I just saw the plugs you need today, I'll see if I can find them. Otherwise Commonsense has all the plugs you need.
You need one female 6S balance plug + 2 3S male ones. The you connect the first 3S male to the first 4 pins and the second to the last used with the first plug (the middle one) + the remaining 3.
However charging on a Triton takes pretty long as it does 2.5A max.

Ok well common sense in my mind tells me to upgrade your charger anyways, sooner or later everyone has to....Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Charging 6S batts
I bought an Xtrema charger/wattmeter. Up to 10S (Cells) 8A Free upgrades for life on I-Net, Will charge all Li Batts, LiMn A123, comes with temp probe included. Many features. Xtrema Balancer on the way soon, I use a Blinky up to 6S. If you want to fly buy the best. Its definitely worth looking at. Made in the USA! I had a ??? Got great Customer Service.

Why take a chance on ruining batteries or a charger.

pfatz did you also consider a TP 1010? If so, how did you make your decision? I am curious about the Xtrema but have never seen one. Any links to the balancer?

Thanks

xtrema charger
Sorry, I've been away for awhile doing other stuff. I looked them all over including the TP 1010 and the Xtrema seemed to suit me best. Its made in the USA. it includes a wattmeter function & now is upgraded to include logging, analysis & graphing. The balancer is to be ready soon. Don't know when since I've not checked lately. I think we will know because they send out news when updates are available. Go to http://www.thextrema.com for info. I like it a lot.
