a good cpa will know exactly what to do. in your case a tax attorney is probably not what you need.

a financial planner can set you up in a tax deferred vehicle for retirement and defer a portion of the taxable income.

i've been using the same cpa for years. been dealing with this exact issue for years as a self employed person. not sure that you will find one who is a "desk jockey". that sounds more like a tax preparer such as h&r block. cpa's will know the latest tax info. they have to. they have to take ceu courses each year to maintain their license so they will know what the current laws are.

this is not rocket science. get a refferal for a good cpa and that is all you need.

my little site (http://www.shellware.com) has earned me a little over $60 in the past 9 months with google adsense. I got my pin # about 2 months ago... I figure I'll be getting my first whopping $100 check some time in jan/feb of next year.

guys, its not uncommon for a site with good traffic to make $1000 a day. why are you after this guy like he is trying to scam you? he hasnt tried to sell you anything.

i think he could look for a better source for tax information. but, theres no harm in asking.
if it ain't broke, break it.

this is not about where his money is coming from.

it is about where he needs to go to get his tax affairs in order, which would be a reputable cpa.

heh

I don't consider my little site to be revenue generating source... It just so happens that my job is also my hobby and I figured wth.. I met the google guidelines.

I probably generate maybe 100 hits a day... and that's a BUSY day.

As far as ad colors... hit refresh a couple times... I've got it alternating because well, um... I could

go to your local yellow pages. you need a cpa not a tax preparer.

Didn't HR Block get busted (recently or last year) for making errors on its own taxes. In the past they made mistakes in mine. I PERSONALLY wouldn't use them.
